I went on a short hike on Turkey Mountain on Friday. I love this bridge across the top of a dam.
This is another trail elsewhere on Turkey Mountain going across the top of dam.
Earlier in the week I went on a short walk at Hunter Park. I love post and beam fences. Among other things, they make great shadows.
I had a lot of excitement yesterday at the No Kings Rally here in Tulsa. Time to settle the nervous system down and relax.
I’m linking with Shadow Shot Sunday. Great gang to chill with.

…a beautiful spot for a hike.
Nice being able to walk across a dam. The shadows welcome a visit.
You have great spots to visit!
Yes, those fences make great shadows! Thanks for sharing them. I might be able to deal with a dam like that, it’s the big hydroelectric ones I have a fear of!
Good job protesting the ugly hearted orange one! Ugh.
A nice looking trail, the water to the right looks cooling.
I also love a good post and beam fence. I mean, I’m in the rustic decor business, so not really a huge surprise, but I truly can’t think of anything better than walking a trail or heading down a lake and following a nice post and beam fence along the way. They feel historic and charming, and I love that picture you shared highlighting the cool shadow, too.
Sweet hike, I know what you mean about knee problems, mine plays up and I haven ever had an op on it, it’s easing up now but still clicks out now and then
