SuperPizzaBoy and I snuck in another geocache while coming back from Nana’ s house the other day. I won’t tell you what cache it was because of the picture above. What SPB is holding in his hand is the cache container, the little metal container on the left and the log, the rolled up paper on the right. You see, knowing what the container looks like on this particular cache would make it much easier to find it, thus spoiling the experience. Geocachers generally like to find the caches on their own. This one was our 772nd find.
Caches with very small containers are called “nano caches”. Finding one is like the needle in the haystack. SPB and I have one in downtown Tulsa called “Tulsa Club.” It is a pentel pencil lead container. A surprising number of people find it.
Ok, I have been meaning to bite on this for a while. How does one get into geocaching? Twice, I have stumbled onto what I think may have been a geocache while trail running/bushwhacking. Clue me in….sounds like fun.
Wow, I had no idea a geocache would be so small. No wonder they’re a challenge to find!
Wow that is one tiny container. I would never be able to find something like that.
That is such a cool thing to be into! I think my sons would LOVE it. Maybe we should try it out this summer!
Wow, what a good find. Hope this game really reaches here in our part of the world but I doubt it. 🙁
I found that one last month. Easy breezy.
Looks like a wonderful find and he certainly does look happy about it.
Thanks for the stop over and yes they say it is great for fishing. We don’t fish.
@Pacey – I checked http://www.geocaching.com. There are around 40 geocaches in the Philippines. So you need to go hide one!
@Baloney – Yeah I saw where you signed the log in bright red lipstick “Red Hot MommyBlogger.” Also the guy who found it right after you said he had never seen a black lace geocaching outfit before. He said it looked good on you.
i’m so confused.
