There are three levels of participation: 12, 25, or 50 books. They all have to be checked out from a library and they all have to be begun and finished in 2009.

I just picked up my first book for the library challenge. Luckily its a fairly short book. I am doing horrible this year on reading. 10 days into the year and I have only finished one book.
I’d be proud to be reading one book every 10 days. The first one I got from the library is 535 pages.
I’m trying to keep my goals kind of modest.
Before blogging and facebook I was reading a book about every two to three days. Now I’m lucky if I finish what I’m reading in 20-30 days! LOL! But, I’m ALWAYS reading a book. Well, I mean I always have a book I’m reading.
Right now I’m reading Honeymoon by James Patterson. It’s about a woman who keeps killing all the men in her life. Good stuff! LOL! It’s definitely a mystery book.
Since you’re already using TCCL’s collection, you might as well sign up for their Winter Reading Program (http://bit.ly/15ejj) to read or listen to just 6 books in order to win a book bag along with coupons from sponsors.
I’ve read that book too – Dawn!
Most of my books do NOT come from the library. I have a huge stack of “gonna reads.”
Currently still finishing 1000 Splended Suns. Reading my daily bible selections (for bible in a year) will slow me down significantly this year.
