Make Mine a _____________
I was in a trail race, I wasn’t exactly winning, but the course was still open, and one of these guys asked “Hey, You want a beer.” and I said “How many other stupid questions do you have?”
Quirky
I saw these legs one day at lunch here in Tulsa. That seems kind of quirky to me. How her top didn’t fall down around her armpits is the real question.
Morning Ritual
Talk about stupid questions. No offense.
What Were They Thinking
Hey I’m a geocacher. I suffer for my art.
What’s In Your ________________?
Well you know how some bathrooms have big ole soft plushy towels, soaps, candles, lotions, creams and all sorts of pretty stuff.
Well we have all that plus something extra.
Yep, we got a weather station. Just try and top that. And it is wireless. Do you doubt now that my wife loves me?
This is what it is wirelessly connected to in our back yard. And it is all solar powered. It’s time for an upgrade though. The new ones can connect to your wifi network and can be embedded on one’s blog. Oh boy! Father’s day is coming up.
I’m thinking that a pairof gortex pants my cure some of those geocache injuries. Just sayin’. Have a blessed week.
That weather station is pretty awesome. I hope you get your Father’s Day wish!
Seems kind of strange to me to serve beer to runners. I’d just stop there and hang out for the rest of the race.
Hmmm I tend to agree with Gaelyn!! And that weather contraption is pretty awesome indeed! I’m holding a Father’s Day wish for you!! Have a great new week!!!
They have a race dedicated to drinking btw… It’s called will run for beer.
Hmm? I’d like to know the story behind the legs.
I hope you get your father’s day wish!
My legs looked almost like that when I cut down my rose bushes.
Ouch-those cuts look like they hurt. The legs and weather station in the bathroom are both quirky.
@Jeanie – it is actually a pretty boring story. Looked for a geocache in some very thick brush and didn’t find it.
Love that weather station … we have one too in the RV and I want one in the Florida house. But (at least during the months we’re there) it isn’t as vitally necessary as it was when we were traveling all the time.
However, you do have a very unique location for yours!
Beer for runners is a bit odd but not nearly as quirky as those legs. I wonder what she was doing.
Neat processing on your Morning Ritual shot.
Ouch on your legs.
Cool gift,
I’ve always wanted a weather station like that! Pretty cool….
oh my gosh! those scratches are gruesome-looking! what a sacrificial hobby (sorry, I couldn’t help myself). Ummm… maybe the “hand stander” had a shirt that was tucked into her pants. Now, my hubs would be jealous of that weather station. I’ve missed visiting your blog. Good to be back!
You have a weather station in your bathroom? Looks like quite a piece of technology. Does it warn you when the tornadoes are coming? You must be very devoted to geocaching to have your legs torn up like that. I have not yet been to a run where they have beer–we’re lucky to get water.
Two words = long pants!
You’re correct – I cannot top the weather station in your bathroom.
Those scratches on your legs are making me feel itchy.
Gotta love a race where they serve beer! (I’m doing one in July that serves bacon!) Love the quirky shot, so random! Thanks for stopping by my blog!
