Water Tower Wednesday – Robert E. Lee Hotel in San Antonio (Air Conditioned)

San Antonio Watertower.jpg

One of my favorite bloggers Daryl of Out and About in New York City often posts pics of water towers in New York City. New York City for some reason has lots of of buildings with water towers on top of them. I think they are totally cool and I’ve had a serious case of water tower envy because in Oklahoma individual buildings don’t have water towers. We have lots of other more conventional water towers but that is not what I wanted.

So I finally found one in San Antonio. So here it is.

A nice photo of your water tower. I often like to look at them as we are going through various places, just to see what is painted on them.

Nice find! I’ve never seen one on top of a building here, but I did read about the hotel in CA where the water tank unfortunately contained a dead body. Just sayin’, you might want to check before you drink.

Wonder if your high winds in OK would be a problem. Guess you’ll just have to travel to see water towers on buildings. 😉

As always, so it seems, I have to ask the question – why? Water towers!!!! Obviously, it’s a case of beauty being in the eye of the beholder.
