One of my favorite bloggers Daryl of Out and About in New York City often posts pics of water towers in New York City. New York City for some reason has lots of of buildings with water towers on top of them. I think they are totally cool and I’ve had a serious case of water tower envy because in Oklahoma individual buildings don’t have water towers. We have lots of other more conventional water towers but that is not what I wanted.
So I finally found one in San Antonio. So here it is.
Cool one, Yogi! This is something I neer see in my rural area.
awesome! thanks for the linky love!
Great shot!

A nice photo of your water tower. I often like to look at them as we are going through various places, just to see what is painted on them.
Nice find! I’ve never seen one on top of a building here, but I did read about the hotel in CA where the water tank unfortunately contained a dead body. Just sayin’, you might want to check before you drink.
Now you’ll have me keeping an eye out for water towers.
Wonder if your high winds in OK would be a problem. Guess you’ll just have to travel to see water towers on buildings. 😉
As always, so it seems, I have to ask the question – why? Water towers!!!! Obviously, it’s a case of beauty being in the eye of the beholder.
That is a good shot! We don’t have water tanks on roofs here either.
Good job in finding a water tower. Persistence pays off.
I can’t look at a water tower and not think of the girls of Petticoat Junction. Cool thing. That hotel has me intrigued!
Awesome!
