I just got back from Houston. I was expecting to get some photographs and find some geocaches while I was down there but I brought our cold windy Oklahoma weather down there and it was just too cold to get out and take some pictures or do much of anything. So I am using this photo that I shot from a bowling alley parking lot during a break in SuperPizzaBoy’s bowling match last week.
What a dramatic and beautiful sky!! Terrific capture for the day!! Hope you have a great weekend!! Stay warm!
That’s a gorgeous shot. Stay warm. Drink cocoa!
Sometimes (often?), Mother Nature just doesn’t cooperate. You found us a nice sky anyway.
Hi Yogi. That is a great sky photo. Sorry you had cold weather in Houston, but it is January. Sometimes the wind blows from the cold north. We’ll survive.
Very nicely captured, even if it was a substitute shot.
Nice sky. I know what you mean about not getting out much in the cold.
What a lovely light in the sky.
Quite a cold snap we’re having.

Except for work, I tend to hibernate in the winter. Love your pretty sky. Have a happy weekend!
How beautiful. I really must get my act together and do some geocaching!
Cheers from Cottage Country!
I’ve only been to Houston once, and it was rainy/chilly – but I still loved that city and hope to revisit someday. Hope SPB had fun bowling. The day looks like it’s closing up shop in your photo.
Some of he best shots are often the unexpected ones. This is a beaut Yogi!

Swirly skies — dramatic, makes me wonder what came next.
When I saw your title, I was expecting lightning strikes. 🙂
