Son and I went geocaching Saturday afternoon on Turkey Mountain here in Tulsa.
The plan was to find several caches, but we only found one, and it was a great one. It was “The Adventure Continues to Continue – RGZ.” It is near the site of an another cache that has since been archived. I’m not going to show you the container nor it’s placement. I don’t want to give away the secret to this tricky cache. It is placed by a cacher who goes by the name M5. Finding one of his caches makes for a great day. Do you think he would sue me if told everybody that he has a twisted mind? Such a mind makes for great geocaches.
Anyway there was a lot of old man style grunting and cussing going on the mountain yesterday. I dropped my walking stick and it slid a long ways down the mountain. So I had to get my big ole butt down there and back to retrieve it. SuperPizzaBoy thought it was pretty funny.
Anyway, four mile round trip, one cache, but a great walk in the woods.
What did you do Saturday?
Looks to me like you had a fun day anyway and SPB definitely looks like he had fun!! Love that smile! Hope you guys have a fun day!!

Funny, and unsafe. But what a great way to spend a day.
I was lazy, like usual, stayed in and did the laundry. Boring. Oh yea, and researching the camera thing.
My comment re. the geocacher would be “it takes one to know one”:-)
Lovely picture of you and SPB – your face shapes are identical. It’s also good that he enjoys a four-mile hike with his Dad – not all children give parents the pleasure of their company. You’re obviously a fun father.
As usual, SPB is the STAR! Looks like a walk in the woods to me.
Great adventure, and photo of father and son
You are blessed. Thanks
What a great day 🙂
My Saturday was spent at home with the kitties =^..^=
I walked through gale force winds to a brunch with friends … 😉 Not as fulfilling as geocaching and yet ..
M5 is a GREAT name! Must be a secret agent type! Twisted, eh? Not surprised you like that sort of thing. How nice of you to provide extra entertainment for SPB by dropping your walking stick. Did you make him pay extra for the added value?
M5 does have a twisted mind! I found his “Hawk Willow III – A Recycled Ground Zero cache” yesterday, it’s quite an adventure!
The great walk is the awesome part in my book! Super portrait of the Cool Dudes.
Anyone know a good lawyer???
Just kidding. Having people like Yogi and adairmd find and enjoy my caches, keeps me hiding them. In my opinion they play the right way and have a ton of fun. I’ve actually enjoyed looking back thru the geocaching blogs and recognizing many caches on there. I was suprised with how many were mine. I do think you should have defended me a little on “36 lives” there are actually FOUR cats in the area. Someone mentioned the eyes. They didn’t glow, but I put tiny reflector tape on each of them when I hid the cache, and now they do. Very spooky at night. Keep on cachin’
