I flew to Houston Friday on business. I have always loved the Tulsa Airport. It was built back in the early 1960’s and is very sleek with lots of glass, exposed steel steel, and gleaming highly polished floors. The whole structure has a very light and airy feeling to it.
Yes, very nice. Without all the guards, etc., it doesn’t even look like an airport. :
Oh, great reflections and what a great capture! It does look like a great airport! I love the feeling of openness! Hope you and SPB and Sweetie have a wonderful Labor Day Weekend!! Enjoy!

That is a neat floor… Impressive !
It is a nice airport!
I’ve spent a lot of time in that airport. It’s kinda on the small size but it’s not as small as the airports in the UP of Michigan. HOLY SMALLNESS!
I love that style too — great windows for looking at the planes. The Eugene Airport is like that as well, and I remember when we used to be able to go there, eat at the restaurant and then walk around upstairs for the view and to watch the planes — even if we weren’t going anywhere. Not now though. No ticket, no view!
This sounds like a real nice airport. I enjoy airports of all sizes. Always fun to people watch.
Sure is shiny for nice reflections. The 60s architecture reminds me of Harlingen, TX airport. (Which I actually hope to never see again.)
I was always fascinated by the walkway lined with flags when I was a kid. Still not sure why – but I loved it!
We find photo-ops even when we are on the go, go, go!
What a wonderful reflection shot!
What a great reflection! I lived in Bartlesville as a young child and do have some memories of Tulsa.

I like the perspective of this shot, Yogi. (I bet Houston was HOT (but I like that city).
