Mount Kilauea on a nice sunny day a couple weeks ago. I love the dagger shaped cloud pointing right at the volcano.
According to our good friends at Wikepedia, Kilauea may be the most active volcano on earth. I tell you what, visiting the area made me realize just how alive this planet is. There is a definitely a fire down below so to speak.
This is so amazingly pretty!
Beautiful skies and I, too, love the dagger shaped cloud!! Terrific capture for the day!! Hope you have a great weekend!!
Pretty shot. I like the clouds- and not sure I would want to get too close to the most active volcano on earth, but how neat to actually get to see it.
You’ve been playing with filters again, haven’t you? Nicely done. And yes, that dagger shaped cloud makes the perfect leading line to the volcano.
Beautiful sky and cloud, lovely image. Have a happy weekend!
Great patterns in those low slung clouds. Delightful scene.
Great shot ~ of a gorgeous sky ~ Mother Earth is very much alive and needs taking are of ~ we are blessed!
Happy Weekend coming to you,

Great sky
That is a one of a kind directional sign … Pointing out a wonder of the world! You were watching Earth still being made!
I would LOVE to see that volcano someday!
Sky over Phoenix
Irv and I hiked across the giant caldron when we were there. It was so neat to see all the steam vents. There is definitely a fire down below.
Beautiful sky, interesting clouds, and I like the painterly effect. Nicely done!!
Very pretty!
Unique clouds.
wow, the photo looks like a painting and a welcome sight from this rainy friday afternoon. great job Yogi 🙂
Hi! Nice capture. II like your blue sky and white cloud photo very much. Thanks for sharing.
Oh, I see the dagger! Very cool.
Very pretty – it looks very hot there. The Big Island is one of my favorite places in the world.
Good to be reminded how “alive” the earth is, and what better than an active volcano. Interesting shot with the dagger cloud.
It’s been so long since I’ve been to Kilauea. I’ve been missing the islands. Beautiful photo of that sharp looking cloud.
that cloud is special…the shape is interestingly intriguing 🙂
