There have been some colorful skies from my office window lately. I like it when the color reflects off the Arkansas River.
I did a little science experiment with the following two photographs.
I stitched them together using Microsofts’s Free Image Composition Editor (ICE) and got this:
Not too bad, it would have been better if I had straightened the two photos before stitching them together. Or maybe next year Santa will get me a new camera and wide angle lens?
Drove to a dead end to capture the sky.
This week I didn’t have to go far to get a skywatch photograph.
My brother Bob and dad, Gramps, are visiting so I took them to the Nature Conservancy’s Tallgrass Praire Preserve which is only about 75 miles or so from Tulsa. We saw lots of big sky and bison that day.

Sometimes I like to get up early and take a run on Arkansas River trail system here in Tulsa. Daily Savings Time gives me a little more light. Sorry for the blurriness. It is hard to hold the camera steady after you have been running a few miles.

A flock of birds flew by just as the shutter opened. I kind of liked it.
Thanks to Daylight Savings Time I get to see some nice sunsets.
