Skywatch Flowers – Yellow Flower Edition

IMG_8217

I hate to say it but I have been uninspired by our skies lately. Either is overcast and gloomy or we have beautiful days without a cloud in the sky. So I dug up a photo from April a couple years ago of a yellow flower in the sky. All I can say now is “Come on April!!”

How about you, are you looking forward to April? I know I am but first we have to have the Super Bowl.

I’m linking with Skywatch Friday today.

Beautiful capture and lovely skies and flower!!! As I have “whined” about lately, we haven’t seen ANY blue skies in weeks!! Hope you have a great weekend!! Enjoy — regardless of the color of your skies — at least that’s whet I tell myself every morning when I look out the window!!!

Same here, the skies have been gloomy especially that we’re expecting a blizzard tomorrow. I guess we have to hang in there until spring arrives.

I understand … that is why I am not among all my blog-friends who are linking to SWF this week. I got nuttin. Maybe next week.

I love daffodills and so your archive shot could not have been better as far as I’m concerned. (We actually don’t get to see them blooming very often any more because it is too hot here in Florida (usually) and we don’t get back to Oregon until after the season.)

Very creative shot ~ love the yellow flower juxtaposed against the sky ~

Yes, this time of year can be rather drab ~ try to make it colorful by doing creative things and being with my doggie and friends and family ~

Happy Weekend to you ~ ^_^

Alan, it’s been too cold for me to get outdoors even when the sky looks pretty. Earlier in the week we had snow and I just didn’t get out to photograph it, but the good news is another round is coming in tonight. Maybe I’ll go out Saturday to take a few pictures to share. We’ll just wait and see how it goes. At least your SWF photo is happy looking! Thanks for hosting the fun!
