Last Wednesday I went out for my Wednesday afternoon run out on the Arkansas River Trail.
I’d been wondering when the rowers were going to be back on the river. Well they were there.
Its just another sign that the weather is warming, and the season is changing.
I don’t know how many times I’ve seen these folks out on the river.
I never get tired of it.
I’ve never seen the rowers in Tulsa but I’ve watched them in OKC. It’s an amazing site to me. So peaceful somehow.
I never tire of our river, the Connecticut, in any season. But this year, I am particularly eager for spring and to see the paddlers out there. Eventually, we will be docking our boat again and going out ourselves. Can’t wait!
Those are neat shots!
It looks like they are sitting right on top of the water. Any sign of spring is welcomed.
I like watching and I would love to be on the Arkansas…with a motor.
Great pics. They just sit right on top of the water. I always admired the rowing teams on the Potomac near Georgetown. The people in your images look so much more relaxed.
Looks like all the boaters paddling away on the Sound! I always love to watch them! Great captures as always! Hope you have a great day!!

Cool shots! There are several college teams that practice in this area, they should be starting up soon. If it ever warms up!!

Gorgeous!
My Watery Wednesday, have a lovely day!
Nice to see the rowers out! The weather really IS getting warmer. 🙂
Wow that looks fun!
Watery Wednesday
As a non-swimmer, better them than me!
Oh yes, i miss kayaking! My Watery Wednesday
Great watery shots, Yogi!
I am wondering if there is a way to tire of it. These are wonderful shots. I so want to be on the water again.
Great shots… always fascinated how the boats glide across with so little breaking of the surface.
Ours were out Wednesday for the first time this season. It made me so happy, because now I know spring is coming (even in the weather guys are saying snow next week).
Looks like fun. I’ll bet the water’s still very cold, though.
They aee courageous, it must be cold and damp!
