I find it ironic and amusing that the hand points down. (I have a strange sense of humor!) I’ve always like sign painted on brick, you don’t see many anymore. ☼ Sunny
Guess Sunny and I both have a strange sense of humor, I was thinking the same thing! I haven’t seen a sign like that painted on brick in a long time either, like looking back — or down, whichever is appropriate I guess! Hope you have a great day!
Great sign. Love the downward pointing finger, although I think I can resist the temptation to follow it! Blocksom strikes me as a great name for an undertaker…
What an unusual sign..I love it. Having owned a flower shop years ago, I was in and out of so many funeral homes it go to be like walking into the post office. The light on the brick really set your capture off beautifully.
Old signs painted on brick are my favourites..this one is great! I love how it’s illuminated by a beckoning light from above…one lives, and dies, in hope!

I had the exact same thought as Sunny and Sylvia when I saw your photo.

Not for me. I’m gonna be cremated.
Ummm, not ready yet. 🙂

It looks like you took this at night which makes it more mysteries and ominous. I agree the downward finger really makes the sign.
i find this funny just because you’re posting/sharing it too close to valentine’s.
glad you’re on board with this meme.
That hand is a bit too graphic, but gets the point across in a way perhaps not intended.
Good to see you here, Yogi!
What a thoughtful picture indeed. Hopefully time and life did treat this company kind.
Please have a good Thursday.

Cool capture! Only someone familiar with Eureka Springs’ terrain would understand why the fickled finger of fate is pointing down.
Most unusual to find a large sign painted on brick! That uniqueness guarantees attention! A great find!
I’m not afraid of dying. I just don’t wnant to be there when it happens:)
I love those old signs painted on walls – something you don’t see much anymore! The hand is pretty weird though.
Looks like end times hit them a long time ago. Nice find!
our undertakers have big beauiful buildings. One even call itself a ranch.
I don’t want to die in your city. Noone will come to my funeral. LOL
