@Sunny – it is a coffee roaster. They don’t like to sell ground coffee just the beans. I asked for a pound of ground coffee once and he almost refused to sell it to me. He said it won’t be any good and people will think that I make crappy coffee.
I’m glad that gentleman is looking out for your reputation as a superb coffee maker!! Interesting place and how perfect for the reflections! Hope the three of you have a great weekend! Try not to get into any trouble!
Brian does not like to do custom orders. I was there Wednesday, and the person in front off me did not know what kind of coffee he wanted. He was new to the world of coffee slobs (people like me) and he said just give me whatever tastes the most like Folgers. I had quick thoughts of ducking for cover, seeing as how he had utterted the “F” word. However, the dude at the counter was cool and made a choice for him. (I bet it was the best cup of Joe he had ever had.)
It might be the “F” word to some, but Folgers Gourmet Blend or Black Silk is among the best for grocery store Java. As for roasted beans, I am liking Kona blend more and more. It’s places like your coffee shop that make me miss living in a larger city. But, I’ll stay in my smaller location all the same. That really is one very cool looking maching and very clean operation. I’d buy my beans there any time.
We have coffee shops here that roast their own and I love to go in just for the aromas… This is a great photo for the reflection and the machinery is very macho.
Cool reflection.
Sorry my stupid is showing…is that a coffee grinder?
Have a great weekend.

Cool looking coffee spot. It looks like a mini coffee factory! Great reflection in the grinder, too. I can see why you like it there.
«Louis», being in the coffee business, appreciates this!
(And he thanks you for your recent visit to San Francisco Bay Daily Photo.)
