At the San Diego Zoo. Elephants are fascinating creatures. The eyes always look observant and a little suffering to me. I think that this elephant is an Asian Elephant.

Elephants are magnificent creatures!
Yes, he is an Asian elephant, smaller with much smaller ears than an African elephant. Tulsa has two of these guys. The San Diego zoo is first class, no make that World Class. They have everything.
Beautiful shot of the elephant.
He’s a handsome fellow. His relatively small eyes do look a little sad.
LOVE him, the gentleness of his soul is captured perfectly with your photo Yogi 🙂
A beautiful dude. great shot, Yogi. He does look contemplative and a bit in need of some compassion.
That is a great portrait of the elephant. You got a lot of material out of your visit to San Diego.
I like that you focused on the texture. The colors are perfect too.
A gorgeous shot. I can’t help but think that elephants long to be back in the wild.
I agree he looks a little sad. Maybe homesick.
