Skywatch – Where It Go? The Moon I Mean.

A couple weeks ago I was at home and SuperPizzaBoy and Sweetie had taken our two mutts for a walk. Sweetie called me on the phone and said, “You need to look at the moon, its beautiful!” I’m always up for that so I went out on the front yard to have a look and couldn’t see it. I looked all over for it. Where did it go?

So I went to the back porch and couldn’t see it there either. Well this is crazy. I went further out in the yard and there it was:

Just like Sweetie said!

Sorry about the blurry shot, the picket fence and all that. At least I found it. I get some credit for that.

Click on over to Skywatch Friday for great photographs of the sky we share from all over our planet.

Hi Yogi ~ I’ve been lurking here for a while … migrated from Coffeypot’s blogroll. I love skywatching. I live across from a huge soybean field, so I get unobstructed views of moonrises quite frequently. It’s nice.

Great shot you caught! Glad you shared.

It was hiding. It does that to me, too. Hubby will say “Look at the moon”. What moon? It’s hiding behind the maple tree.

I love everything about your photo and the neighborhood is a perfect setting for a gorgeous moon — which that one is! Have a wonderful weekend!

It is really pretty, really a good shot. My hubby knew that I am into skywatch and he is the one who called me if he found unique cloud formation and colors. Isn’t it great to have sweetie’s like that? Happy weekend and enjoy!

I think you got a good shot! I have a horrible time getting a good moon shot unless I have my camera on a tripod. And, usually by the time I get the silly thing set up the moon has gone down too far for a picture. LOL!

P.S. I mentioned you on my post this evening. =)

Never mind the blurry shot, the picket fence and all that. I think it’s a very atmospheric picture and I like the story of your quest for the moon.
    Enjoy your weekend!

Glad you found the moon eventually. You have your family well conditioned to let you know of photo opportunities.

Doesn’t look blurry to me. You’ve got a fabulous view of the sky and the moon from your yard. Well done and thanks for visiting mine.
