It’s been flaming hot lately. Not too much action in the backyard except for this pair of doves taking a tepid bath.
We try and keep the water in our various baths and dishes in the backyard full and change it daily. The water gets pretty darn warm.
I’m linking with Saturday’s Critters
Hello Alan,
You are nice to provide the birds with the water. Cute captures of the doves, they are sweet.
Thank you for linking up and sharing your post. Take care, have a great weekend. PS, thanks so much for leaving me a comment.
Our doves seem to be somewhere ese right now. They used to be in the trees outside our windows singing their tunes at 4:30 in the morning but have moved on to share their songs with others and that’s ok. 🙂
I love birds, I used to have3 and each of my kids and husband’s grandmother had one. I need to get another feeder pole and bird bath, the Florida sun and heat is very hard on them.
Lindas palomas. Te mando un beso.
I feel your pain; it’s scorching hot! The doves’ tepid bath is adorable.
We see Doves here every day too. They get on the ground under the feeders and they love the bird bath. It’s HOT here too! take care!
Poor critters. Nice of you to put water out for them.
I’m glad you provide the birds with water–we have a birdbath and it serves deer more than birds, but they need to drink too!
Love the captures of the doves.
How kind of you to provide water for the birds!
God Bless you, Yogi
It’s great you take care of even the smallest critters. I’m sure they appreciate it. Dana says their pool is too hot to swim in this summer. Meanwhile in YELL Craigs Pass closed because of snow and ice on Sunday. Jillian and Brian’s trailer that they store at our place was totaled by hail a couple weeks ago. A couple days ago the hail broke out our sky lights. Crazy weather this summer!
