View from a fountain looking up.
Lucky me, no water in the fountain in Winter.
What’s with the green? Hey its a new Holiday Inn.
Actually it was a Holiday Inn 18 years ago, then closed, then a Ramada Inn, then closed, then a Best Western, then a few other names, now, after a very extensive renovation, its a Holiday Inn again..

A refinery – I used to work in a natural gas processing plant, sometimes late at night. Its almost deserted and being all by yourself is pretty spooky. Lots of lights, but not enough light, lots of noise, lots of things that go bump.
A view of downtown from the Arkansas River.
Check out Skywatch Friday for photographs of the sky from all over the world.
Love that fountain, but I’d also love to see it with water too!
Great shots today — as always! Love the composition in the first one and I love the night shots with all the colors/lights. Hope you have a super weekend, Yogi! Enjoy!

A nice selection of shots, I would guess from an evening run along the river. Good work.

Love the refinery shot, Yogi. Creepy in a good/bad kind of way.
WOW. Excellent night shots!! Did you use a tripod?
Good job Yogi!
You know it’s still Thursday, right?
Awesome photos!!! What kind of camera do you use? And do you seriously run with your camera? How do you do that??
I like your nighttime city views, Yogi.
Nice fountain and shot.
The Holiday Inn might take the phoenix as a symbol. What a series of lives.
That must be a lovely fountain when it’s in action.
Very beautiful shots. Night shots are amazing.
I love the night shots – hard to get, but worth it. By the way, my wife is a Taylor Swift fan.
I’ve always admired a good fountain in a town center, aka the town watering hole.
Some stunning pictures there.
