Last week Sweetie went off to watch “it’s Complicated” with Meryl Streep, Steve Martin, and Alec Baldwin. Ms. Streep and Mr. Baldwin play a couple who have been divorced for ten years who … It’s complicated and I don’t want to spoil any of it for you.
Lets just say that Meryl Streep steals the show. She is smart and sexy and does a great job in this movie. Alec Baldwin and Steve Martin also do a great job but they are just the supporting cast to the star.
There are some moral predicaments in the movie. They don’t flinch from them. Sometimes the antics of the grownups has consequences on those they love. Consequences that last years.
I loved this movie. It was the perfect date night romantic comedy. I give it four stars out of four.

I guess I should go see it, but I have gone to my one movie for 2010. That has been my average for the last 20 years. I went to see Blindside and it was worth watching again.

As for bungee jumping, there is a part of me that would like to give it a try. Just a part, the part that doesn’t have good sense.
I’ve been wanting to see this so much, but living in the middle of nowhere means waiting for the movie to arrive maybe someday to play in a grungy theater with bad sound. In other words, wait for the DVD and watch it in the home theater. I just don’t want to WAIT, it happens. Thanks for the review.
