Five Mourning Doves waiting for somebody to refill the bird feeder one chilly morning recently. They kind of puff up to help keep themselves warm is what I read.

We have a lot of doves here but I didn’t know that about them. They are very beautiful birds!

Smart birds…if you build it, they will come. #SaturdayCritters
Hello, Yogi,
I love seeing your doves all lined up in a row. They are pretty birds.
I rarely see them in my yard, maybe one or two once in a while.
Great photo. Thank you for your critter post and for sharing your link! Take care, have a wonderful week ahead. PS, thank you for leaving me a comment.
Such a sweet, patient little row of doves! Love how they’re all puffed up against the cold.
Hello 🙂
Good capture of the doves in a row. I hope someone filled the feeder, those poor doves are cold and hungry. I think all birds puff up to try to keep warm.
Looks like here with the Doves all puffed up and waiting for feed ~ great shot ~ thanks,
Wishing you good health, laughter and love in your days,

Aren’t they fun to watch?!
I think we’ve 14 this year. One year there were 22.
