My Sister and her husband came for to visit us in Tulsa this past weekend. We decided to check out the Oklahoma Aquarium in nearby Jenks, Oklahoma.
The Aqarium sits right on the banks of the Arkansas River. They have a wide range of exhibits that includes not only salt water fish and animals but fish native to Oklahoma. We had a very good time.
They had some jelly fish
And some very ugly fish
They some little cute colorful fish
As well as some big brutish fish
If you are not happy just looking at the fish they have some fish you touch.
Sorry for the blurry shot, lighting was kind of dim.
From left to right, my sister Ellen, my son SuperPizzaBoy, my wife Sweetie, and best ever bil Irvin.
Check out the Oklahoma Aqarium if you are in the Tulsa Area. Their web site lists hours, programs, and fees.
Check out “That’s My World” to find out more about what is going on in our world.
The jellyfish are my favorite. I can watch them for hours.
What a fun place to visit. I haven’t been to an aquarium since my son was little.
You got some really good pics.
Sunny 🙂
What a great trip to visit lots of different kinds of fish. Those jelly fish look sort of like cauliflower.
Maybe theologans can’t count.
Oh this post reminds me how long it has been since I visited the Monterey Aquarium. Super photos.

You took some great photos. I would hate to fall the jellyfish tank!
Yogi: What a neat place, I love to see fish from the ocean and inland. Thanks for sharing your neat photos.

Nice aquarium–who’d a thunk it, in Omaha?
Your pictures turned out a lot better than mine did when I went out there. Everyone looks like they enjoyed themselves. You know it was a really nice place but kinda expensive for what it was.
i like the jellyfish shot although i’m scared of them, it’s just they are so fascinating to watch. cool shots!
My world entry is here.
