Skywatch Friday – Close to Home and Downtown

Some stormy skies one early evening in the neighborhood.

The morning after a stormy sky in the neighborhood. More threatening skies and a new roof going up.

On a dogwalk at our neighborhood greenbelt. A very sunny and bright afternoon. I love new leaves in the spring. Talk about fresh and green.

Tulsa Earth Day Celebration

On Earth Day I was manning a booth in downtown Tulsa representing the Tulsa Urban Wilderness Coalition. This is a view of the food trucks. It was also food truck Wednesday. I ended up getting some very spicy and flavorful Thai food.

I am linking with Skywatch Friday.

People who brave high roofs have my respect. And I, too, love early spring when blooms and leaves are at their freshest and the world seems at the cusp of something wonderful happening.

Beautiful skies in your neighborhood! I’m going to stay close to home tonight and see if I can get some moon photos. I would prefer the desert, but no time to make the drive!

    Beautiful skies!

We;ve been having lots of clouds this week but no rain! The drought is very bad in Colorado.

I like Thai food — it is very flavorfull!

One of my husband’s uncles, who did roofing as a second job, fell off a roof and did not survive. This is such a dangerous job and respect to those who do this service for us. I especially liked the clouds in the second picture, and I am so enjoying seeing spring green while it lasts.
