Last Saturday I found my new cubicle up in north Tulsa at Oxley Nature Center near the Zoo. Isn’t it a beauty?
I know the seat looks a little hard and it’s more of an open concept type workspace but I don’t think privacy will be much of an issue. It is a long walk to the restrooms although there is a water feature on the way.
My fellow coworkers are busy as bees. They have to be, some of them disappear for the winter.
One thing I’ll have to get used to is the narrow hallways. They are nicely decorated.
And I’ll save time, I won’t have to go far to find geocaches on my lunch hour. I’ll probably get tired of finding the same ones over and over. I’ll have to hide some of my own. The owners of this cache say it is on property once owned by an uncle of John Denver. Now how would they know that? Did little John run and play here as a kid while visiting his uncle? I’m digressing, sorry.
The landscaping is unique in my new office. You’ve heard of the bluestem grass in Oklahoma as tall as a man on horseback. Check this out, I wasn’t doing the old crouching down thing. I was standing up straight. Can your plant service match that? Low maintenance also!
So what do you think? Want to come join me? Visitors always welcome. Its only 15 minutes from my regular cubicle. We can have lunch! Bring it though, its a long walk to the nearest deli. You want your own cubicle. There is another space nearby. We can at least wave to each other.
Ooops, Sorry, thanks for reminding me. This is a good place for Skywatch pictures also.
Check out Skywatch Friday for views of the sky from all over the world.
I love your new cubicle! The only downside might be a shortage of water cooler gossip (unless you’re willing to listen to the little birds, and I warn you, they can be witchy.)
Funny post. I suspect all of your colleagues are going to want the same relocation.
great shots

Funny, delightful post! Love the photos of your new office space — way cool! Like Janie said, you may lack water cooler gossip, but then you do have the bees and you know how they buzz! Your photos are terrific as always, Yogi!
Have a great weekend, particularly if you’re in your new office!

You cannot get that chair from Ikea, that’s a craftsman chair 🙂
I love what we call here Easter Daisies. I think they come out in our gardens in late March.
Thanks for your visit.
Yogi, I can’t decide which I like better–your photos or your sense of humor! It’s a real gift to be happy where you are, and I believe you have it. Keep on treasuring every day, and please keep on sharing your photos with your Skywatch pals!
I love your cubicle. Whenever people ask me why a girl from Georgia wanted to work at the north rim of the Grand Canyon, I always spread my arms wide, and say “Just look at my cubicle. Wouldn’t you want to work here, too?”
Great fun, Yogi – I have an idea that some of your coworkers might want to join you. Better not mention a word of this in the office! The rest of us here at SWF will keep your new space quiet, too – no sense in creating crowds!
Very clever post! I enjoyed reading it, and the clouds are wonderful!
How wonderful. Those are amazing.
Happy weekend Yogi.
Wow, I want a cubicle like yours. Lucky you! Your photos are wonderful and the last sky shot is just awesome.
Yogi: What a neat stroll throug your new place to accomplish your work.
Love your new cubicle. That last shot is dramatic.
Nice place to venture and take a stroll. We do have little corners that have nature but being a city girl, I am so lazy to venture out…lol. Hope to do so one day.
Love your new office. It’s nice to have a cubicle with a view. Bet you can get more work done in this out of the way quiet space. Or, maybe you’ll be distracted by the local buzz. Love the big sky overhead.
Everyone should have so nice a cubicle!
Fantastic shots !! This place is so beautiful ! Thanks for sharing the beauty !!Unseen Rajasthan
