As a father has compassion on his children, so the Lord has compassion those who fear him; for he knows how we are formed, he remembers that we are dust. As for man, his days are like grass, he flourishes like a flower of the field, the wind blows over it and it is gone, and its place remembers it no more.
Psalm 103: 13-16
one of my favorite verses. i love how the light works in that last pic of the purple flower.
Lovely flowers! Summer is so short.
Beautiful!
Beautiful pics–you’re a great photog! Love the verse, too.
Great verse to go along with your photos. Love those flowers.
Yogi I have to ask you a question. I don’t have your email. Can you explain to me how someone who lives in mid-town Tulsa can get to Sand Springs? I can’t figure out what parts of the IDL they are closing. Hubbys family lives out in S.S. I knew you worked downtown and thought maybe you could explain it better than the local news. =)
Nice!
@Jen – Thank you. I hope that someday I’ll have more favorites than I can recall now. The last picture was taken in my Aunt’s garden in Idaho, so I cheated on it.
@Jenn Jilks – Summer is short. I like the long hot days.
@Baloney – Thank you – I especially value your opinions.
@Kathy – I’ll get with you on the route to Sand Springs.
@Kirigalpoththa – Thank you!
Beautiful flowers. But, alas, all glory is fleeting, as they remind us so clearly.
Very good close ups on these pretty flowers!
