This time of year, the state tree of Oklahoma, the redbud tree, blooms. They bloom before most other trees leaf out so it doubles the beauty.

Lovely post! And a lovely header.
They’re beautiful, all the more so because they’re blooming with snow still on the ground.
Thanks for the touch of spring.
flowers make spring so delightful. your flowers are so cheerful.
Great pics. I love the purple trees along with the snow, something you don’t see everyday.
Have a great week!

I love Redbuds in the snow! Beautiful blue sky up there in T Town.
Redbuds are my second favorite. I’m a big fan of the dogwoods! I’ve been bugging Doc to plant a little of both over here!
The snow is a reminder of what obtained for so many of us just a few weeks ago.
Wow, it looks like violet, still it makes a wonderful photo!
I wonder if this is one of those REALLY good redbud years (like when I lived southwest Missouri and the buds covered the trunks some years) because I’ve noticed a lot of them here this year and I NEVER notice them at all. I used to miss them, but this year we’ve had nice ones. Your photo is fabulous!
Thank goodness your snow didn’t seem to affect the blossoms! Very, very pretty.
what a beautiful tree! I also like your header pic:)

That’s a very pretty color. A great way to start your spring season. 🙂 In my part of the world, summer has started.
Nice photos, I just wish I knew what the botanical name for thise beautiful trees was as redbud is a common name unknown here.
Amazing colour! The beauty of nature. Excellent photos and post.
Yogi: You have the blooms but do I see snow all over the area. It makes a nice contrast.
Beautiful trees and photos of your rosebud tree, and I learned something new today. I think you’d better tell Oklahoma it’s Spring already, though its a little bit chilly here in VA. Maybe I’d better do the same.
Just gorgeous, our neighbours have one that I covet.
Lovely color.
I love redbuds. You got some great pictures of yours. and why are they called redbuds when they aren’t red? ha.
indeed the redbuds are beautiful…can’t get enough of them this time of year. like the snow in the shot too 🙂
have a good week.
