I don’t know exactly why but here in Tulsa we have had a great year for Fall color. The leaves are falling pretty fast and pretty soon we’ll just have bare trees. Which I like also. A tree is a year round thing of beauty.

Plenty of rain, gradually cooling temperatures have made for a lovely Autumn this year in NW Arkansas as well. A few trees are still sporting a bit of color, but most have either turned brown or dropped their leaves completely. Winter is just around the corner. Great looking tree in your photo and lovely color as well.
I agree that trees are beautiful in every season, but yours is spectacular in its Autumn color against that blue Oklahoma sky!
That clear blue sky tells of nice weather and makes an excellent backdrop for the fall colors.

You are right–a tree is a year around thing of beauty. Our Fall color has been lovely also but now the rains are doing their job by knocking down every leaf they can hit. But it is that time of year. MB
