The Arkansas River right at dusk Wednesday night near the start of my eleven mile run. With daylight savings time expired I run in the dark these days during my weekly long run training for the Route 66 Half Marathon coming up later this month.
What are you getting ready for?
i never knew u were a runner until recently. do u run daily? great exercise i bet. ( ;
Oh, how pretty – and peaceful.
Beautiful picture and a great way to start your run. Right now I am getting ready for a much less than 11 mile walk with my dog.
So peaceful! Wonderful start to your run.
Running in the dark – not for me thank you. Mind you, I don’t run in the daytime either so why I made that comment I know not!!!
You do get to see most beautiful sunsets though – my blinds are drawn at that time so I see SFA (sweet Fanny Adams). I know full well there’s a more up to date interpretation of those letters but the above’s the one I used in the olden days:-)
Such a beautiful way to begin or end any day! So peaceful and a great time to run!! Terrific capture and yours do get better every day!! Hope your week is going well!!
Wow, I commend you for doing an 11 mile run! Today I am (not) ready for cleaning and my fall project knitting hats for the needy!

I’m getting ready to take a nap ;>)…not really, but I definitely feel very lazy when I read of your regime. Gorgeous skies and light on the beautiful river. (I do not like it when DST ends!)

Gorgeous light to run under. You must be very fast to avoid the dark.
You don’t want to know what I’m getting, unhappily, ready for.
Nice running conditions I’d say!
