I wasn’t there when the buses rolled away carrying 157 kids including our Logan to Falls Creek from the church parking lot Monday morning. Heather was and snapped this pic.
Before they left the Church Youth Director went over some of the rules and guidelines.
The most important rule starts out: “Boys Are Blue” and …
Girls are Red!! So Listen Up Campers, because…
There is no Purple!!
Everybody Got That?
Is there where I mention that I’ve talked to more than a few people who fondly remember purple at Falls Creek?
no purple??! what? that is just plain silly. there always is purple. ( :
so says the rainbow. ha. ha!!
Try not to worry so much about Logan – in your heart you know he’ll be fine and manage all by himself. It’s called cutting the apron strings – something the majority of parents find difficult. On the other hand, if the week is just too bad without Logan, go to the doctors for tranquilisers. There, there, I’ve just given you a pat on the back as a soother.
Ha ha ha – what a sense of humour!
When I went to Falls Creek, everything was still in black and white. I don’t think we got color until 1968.
Logan is going to have so much fun! I can’t wait to hear all about it.
Much fun.
