I’ve been reading posts by my fellow bloggers in Canada, Colorado, New York, and I’ve noticed with some envy that their leaves are turning and here in Oklahoma our leaves are still bright green. Whattup folks!

Gorgeous light in this shot!
They are beginning to turn if you look closely. As soon as we get an overnight low in the 40’s we will see some color.
A few are starting to change colors here in NW Arkansas. Many of the sycamores are now a lighter green and moving toward yellow. There is a hint of red in some of the maples. This next will should start the peak fall color season.
I bet it won’t be long before your leaves are raining down from the trees like ours have been here for the last few days.
Ours are definitely turning, PLUS we also have some bare branches.
Does that make us fortunate or unfortunate?
Ours are beginning to turn and as I watch the trees across the street I can almost watch them turn — a little more red and yellow every morning! Lovely shot for the day!!
Great autumn photo,Yogi! We have here autumn too but many trees lost already their leafs. And today we had here a typical autumn day- stormy wind, grey sky and rain the whole day-good mood weather ;-)!
Have a nice weekend.
ours are getting thinner and thinner here in NH… still many beauties to view though.
Yep! Still green in Norman!
All those green leaves sure do block the sky. 😉
Enjoy it while you can! The turning leaves are beautiful, but they only mean winter is getting closer.
really lovely sunburst!
we lost a lot of leaves in aug/sept but it was due to drought. now that we’ve had some rain, we’re getting our second spring with trees blooming and pushing out replacement leaves before winter. 🙂
Yep, we had winter, with snow,in SD and two days later bright summer in Missouri Arkansas and now Mississippi. No Fall.
