The theme this week centers around cool and cold in this hot time of year.
Cool Colors
Nothing cooler than the Blue Whale, an attraction on Route 66 in the Tulsa suburb of Catoosa. Especially since I shot this in December, and I like the picture upside down. I’m an upside down kind of guy is what I say.
Leaves
These leaves are near Mount Rainier. It was very cool there.
Iced Beverage
Ah yes, the iced drink of choice in Oklahoma is a Margarita on the Rocks.
Cooling Off
Our ceiling fan on the back porch.
Raw
Oh yes, Ahi Tuna, yummm. And in my family I don’t have to worry about anybody stealing bites. Nor from my raw oysters.
Check out Ashley Sisk’s Scavenger Hunt Sunday. It is lots of fun, at least for me it is.
A+ on this summer assignment!
Ah, these are SO “cool” and a great variety! You always find the great ones and start my day with a giggle and a smile! Hope you have a great day!
That blue whale is great!
Ahh to be at Mount Rainer….
Fun shots! I love the look of that tuna!
I wouldn’t be staling bites of your tuna either! Love your first two shots. The leaves look cool and refreshing!
Sounds like you’re craving coolness at the moment. The green leaves are lovely and lush.
All very cool shots. Been cool up here on the rim also.
Oh your blue what is “cool” and so whimsical. That would have been great for next weeks (mirror image) shot.
Your leaves shot is lovely.
I wouldn’t steal bites of your raw food either. Had bad Oysters once, never again.
This is, perhaps, my favourite blog site – love the way your imagination goes into overdrive:-)
The leaves picture is delightful.
Excellent set! That first one is fantastic!
I like the idea of thinking about cool and cold in July.
I was totally with you until the raw stuff came up! Enjoy!
