A wonderful mood in this shot!
That’s a huge one- hope that sky wasn’t a bad storm.
Strange, I know, but I never think of Oklahoma having mansions. Big sky and prairie is what I think of.
Looks a bit eerie!
moody … and very edgar allen poe-ish
Oklahoma weather has been scary recently. Hope all your storms bring is moisture and Gothic light.
the clouds make the place look very mysterious & even haunted. ( :
That’s what we call a “lowering” sky. “Lower” is pronounced the same as plough as against beau.
Stunning sky. I hope you don’t have any more bad storms.
It looks rather ominous..I hope there are no more horrible storms for you.
Thanks for hosting SW! You think John Wayne was a skywatcher?
A lovely composition for SWF!
The sky is looking stormy. It could be a haunted mansion! Great capture. Thanks for hosting and happy skywatching!
According to the news, you guys are seeing too many of those stormy skies lately. Glad to hear you’ve decided to get a storm shelter.
Beautiful!
A beautiful, stately mansion!
Looks dramatic!

Hey Yogi, I heard about the tornado last night. Was that anywhere near you? I just saw footage on a news video. Hoping everyone is fine in your neck of the woods.

The mansion looks stunning under that stormy sky!
Makes me want to either run for my umbrella or just stay in my house with a nice cup of tea and watch the world go by.
Beautiful home under a threatening sky, great capture!
I think Mr. Wayne would have been a Skywatcher after all he lived in Newport Beach where he sailed his yacht so the sky would have been important to him.
Sure hope it doesn’t bring another tornado. Looks like an Adam’s family kind of place with the dark clouds overhead.
Great shot! The mansion looks really impressive under the sky!
Great pic of the big house and the big stormy sky. makes me think of a Stephen King style haunted house. I haven’t heard of any tornadoes as far north as Tulsa, but that sky looks like it could produce one. Hope no damaging storms come your way.
an imposing mansion…love the mood of this image.
