Scavenger Hunt Sunday – From Wild to Classic

I’m joining again in Ashley Sisk’s most excellent Scavenger Hunt Sunday

This week’s prompts are:

Wild

IMG_7466

A fat and sassy coyote that I encountered in a Bixby, Oklahoma park early one morning last Spring. Coyote’s are wild but they have adapted to urban environments. They really like to eat dogs and cats. Especially the little ones.

Welcome

Favorite Cache

I’m not too much into cute stuff but I was charmed by this. It seems welcoming to me! I am a geocacher and this was a temporary geocache at an area event last year. Check Geocaching 101 if you don’t know what I’m talking about.

Adventure

53540002

Last year for vacation we went to Gulf Shores, Alabama. A high point of our trip was a kayaking trek on the Bon Secour River. It was major fun.

Vibrant

We went to see Rod Stewart in concert a few months ago. Talk about a show!! He can still entertain. I love his sportcoat. His show was big, bright, bold, beautiful, and vibrant.

Classic

IMG_1432

How about 1932 Marmon 8-125 Convertible Coupe. to run on down to the local Walmart for some milk? Isn’t it beautiful?

Well that’s it folks. Join in the fun at Scavenger Hunt Sunday.

Oh how fun…I love Rod Stewarts coat….how did you get such a great picture of him at a concert? Impressive!!!! And that car is too cool. Love it. That would be so fun to drive that around.

Yogi, All your finds are perfect. Can Rod Stewart be older than me – I think he has more wrinkles (Maybe I should dye my hair?). That’s a BIG coyote.

Rod Stewart… WOW .. that’s a blast from the past. I have all his CD’s. Now I have to go dust them off and give them a listen.
Great set of photos this week!

it’s a rare man that can carry off wearing a coat that loud, but Rod the Mod does it well I tell you. I hope he sang Maggie May for you. (unless you don’t like that tune. then I hope he didn’t). the kayaking trip looks like a whole lot of fun. I’ve always wondered if they are easy to tip over because they seem that way. now I’m off to check out Geocaching 101. happy week to you Yogi.

As I read your entry I thought I must write about RS’s jacket/suit – it’s fabulous. However, I see there are a large number of great minds who all think alike!!!!

The photo of the coyote is beautiful! I saw one for the first time recently at a friend’s house. It was running along a tree line too far away to capture a picture!
