We went to see Jersey Boys a few weeks ago. This sign was plastered all over the lobby of the Performing Arts Center.
I’m not ashamed at all to admit that it I took this warning as a sign that the show was going to be great.
Would you have turned around left the theater if you saw this sign?
That sign might have gotten me past not liking the crowds of concerts.
NOPE! My girlfriend and I used to go to the theatre on a regular basis, when I lived in the city. We were happy with the nudity, as it was usually a handsome young male actor!!!
Greetings from Cottage Country!
No way!
I’d have been at the front of the queue!!!!!
Heavens no!! I would have bought a ticket on the spot! The sign would have said the same thing to me that it said to you!! Happy 4th of July!! Have a blast!

Now I’m even MORE mad that I missed it. 🙂
Well, I’m not sure. It all depends on what the audience looked like. :))
If I had any thought that the show might be boring, that sign would convince me otherwise. Hope it was as fun as you anticipated.
I went, I saw, I liked!
I appreciate that kind of up front, too. I would have stayed–and ducked the shots.
Out of interest, did the show live up to your expectations?
Nope, wouldn’t deter me at all. It was an awesome show for sure. Loved it!
Love Frankie Valli and friends’ music. Got to see this show.
I would have left except the Jersey language part would’ve made me stay. =)
nah .. and a happy safe Fourth to you!
@Leedslass – yes I loved it. My post is here: http://www.yogis-den.com/2012/06/last-night-sweetie-and-i-ventured.html
@Jennifer James – ever the student of the fringe.
No, I would not have been offended although I am now curious if a similar warning sign is posted for the show in Vegas.
I’ve always loved the 4 seasons.
