The view from my office building in downtown Tulsa with my favorite crane and a fire in the hills of Osage County to the north of downtown. Surprisingly and fortunately the fire was put out in relatively short order.

that crane sure pops against the smokey clouds
Outstanding photo! So glad the fire could be put out quickly.
That crane is awesome and so is your capture! Glad the fire was put out quickly! It does make a scary and yet beautiful backdrop! Enjoy your day!

Hate to see fire season start so early.
Oh, that’s a lovely composition with those dramatic clouds and red colour!
That’s a lot of smoke, yet a nice backdrop for your favorite crane.
Very interesting capture. You seem to find a way to be in the right place at the right time. Nice work.
That’s a fascinating photograph. Have you had a dry winter too? The south of England is on drought alert which, for us, is almost unheard of!!!
Needless to say, we northerners have had plenty of rain so we’re fine and dandy.
My son love to look at those type of things. My Ruby Tuesday post, please come by and see.
I love this photo! Well done!
Greetings from Cottage Country!
Beautiful capture. Happy RT2!
Mine’s here.
It’s sad to think just how beautiful something so tragic and perhaps could easily be a disaster can show us beauty in it all.
What a terrific, intense, image you’ve shared.
The fire is too scary…

That is a huge crane.
That’s some serious smoke out there. What a great photo.
when I was young in mid high school, my retired grand dad used to sit at the balcony and watch the piling machine. He would count how many “DHE PONG JA LANG” the sound of the piling machine made, it held great fascination for him.
