This is from Perryman Cemetery, Tulsa’s oldest cemetery, last Saturday. Spring is here, the grass is green but the trees are bare, but the weather is warm and the skies are nice.
Note the burial house in the foreground. They are a Creek (and other tribes) Indian tradition that I am researching.
It does look beautiful! I’ll trade my skies for yours today, that’s for sure. Interesting about the burial house in the pic, I’ll be interested in learning more about that! Have a wonderful day! Enjoy!

Yogi, beautiful skies. I love the puffy white clouds. The burial house is new to me, very interesting. Thanks for sharing your skies.
Just the perfect transition to Spring picture — I love this!
Awesome clouds in the sky! A great shot!
Happy Skywatch!
We, like you, have been enjoying some warmer days and the buds on the trees are beginning to swell – doesn’t everyone love springtime?
It may sound odd but I do like graveyards – there is so much to see of interest and also to learn. I look forward to reading what you learn about burial houses and the Creek Indians.
Gorgeous sky!
MY Skywatch, hope you’d come and see.
What a gorgeous spot to be laid to rest. Not too crowded, and beautiful trees. I think I could be very happy there. But, no, I will go rest with Stonewall Jackson. He is in the middle of the cemetery. This is such a quiet and serene picture. Lovely. genie
great shot…interesting about the burial houses!
I have driven by that little cemetery many times but am not sure how to get up there. It would be interesting to see the old stones. I wonder what is the oldest? Old cemeteries are interesting.
Looks like its a beautiful day when you took this photo.

These cotton wool clouds?
Beautiful skywatch shot, and looking forward to learning about the burial house.
Lovely sky but it’s the green grass that gets my attention. I’m looking forward to it here. 🙂
