Boston Avenue Methodist Church in Tulsa. An art deco masterpiece designed by Adah Robinson and Bruce Goff. If you find yourself in Tulsa on Sunday mornings the church offers tours of the building. This used to be our family church and I can tell you that the interiors are stunning.
Very cool pic. That is a really neat building inside.
majestic is the word that comes to mind ..
A Tulsa architectural icon. Very nicely captured. I have never had the opportunity of see the inside of this building. As an architect, that is just wrong of me..
All I can say is……..”Wow”. That is one very impressive image!!!!
Really like the art deco. Great shot, especially as there are almost no cars.

This is quite dramatic with the building lit against the dark sky. Nice shot!
That’s a beaut!
Different to any church I’ve ever seen. Reminds me of a castle.
That’s an impressive building against the dark blue sky.
Who wouldn’t be inspired by attending services there?
What wonderful lighting! A lovely shot.
Now that is splendid!
Wow that is beautiful!
SWF
I love to photograph beautiful churches. Here in Texas where I live the Methodists built the prettiest ones!
East Coast Methodists don’t know the first thing about elegant architecture. Out here we don’t do much more than the white clapboard rectangle. That is one incredible building.
Wonderful!
Thanks for visiting and commenting on my blog (hawk in tree).
