It’s almost the end of January, April is around the corner and I am already looking forward to Baseball.
I love it whether in beautiful downtown San Diego or here in AA Tulsa.
We’re serious fans,
We sing Take Me Out to the Ball Game, with gusto.
We say hello to the mascots.
We check out the camera ladies fingernail polish and wonder what the duct tape is for.
We watch the fireworks.
And sometimes even watch the game.
That’s rounders for Americans with more fun thrown in than I experienced on school sports’ day.
You forgot to mention the beer and hotdogs.
There was a time when we were at the ballfield almost every single night from early Spring to late in the Fall to watch any type of baseball/softball game from t-ball through professional ball. It’s a great game.
Oh, yeah! Gaelyn is right don’t forget the beer and hotdogs — well, beer for you at least. You do have fun and what a fun post for the day! Got my day started with a big smile!

You’re already itching for spring training, Yogi – I’m still hoping for snow! Great pics of the ball game.
Here, it seems it’s hockey that gets everyone going, but I wish baseball was more popular here. I’d be out there singing with you!

I love this – someone who skips over the rest of winter and is anticipating spring training!
I would be such a baseball fan if my husband would cooperate! I’ll just have to live vicariously through you! Great shots! 🙂
I’ve probably been to the San Diego stadium more than any other in MLB. My sister lives there, and I saw at least 1 football and 3 baseball games there.

The glory of baseball I can only imagine! I guess it is a little like our football fever in the winter season! A great series of photos!
My son love playing baseball.

Lovely day of fun. How could you not mention the beer??? 😛

Love your enthusiasm. Way to go. Sorry we will be on opposite sides once the season starts.
Go Giants! (:0)
That is an awesome and fun post. I LOVE the picture of you and SPB. What fun!
Thank you for visiting us, Chrissy. You are beautiful! Did you join the humans to watch this game?
Heard John Fogerty’s “Centerfield” on the radio today. Made me want to buy a glove.
The best time I’ve ever had in a ball park was when we went to Spring training in Arizona. The park was small, the weather was perfect, and the game moved fast. Oh, and I saw Harry Carey.
Sweet post and great photos. I love minor league baseball – it is SO much fun!
Baseball was our family’s favorite (probably since my dad played semi-pro baseball with a team called Hoosier Beer) and we would go to Chicago to see either the White Sox or the Cubs. It didn’t matter as long as it was a baseball game!

You got some great seats! Did the mascot eat in the cafeteria too?
FUN! Hmmm. I wonder what the duct tape is for too.
