Well we had Thanksgiving over at my Mother-in-Law’s house.
There was a whole houseful people. And a little bit of food. It wasn’t exactly like feeding the multitudes with a few fish and loaves.
We had lots to eat and lots to talk about. And of course everybody was happy that the Dallas Cowboys beat the Miami Dolphins… well at least I was happy:)
Below is Sue Carol. She is Sweetie’s aunt and a retired school teacher.
My favorite were these pots. It’s kind of a double self portrait.
What was in them was good also.
Anyway, we had a great Thanksgiving. How was your day?
Man that is a ton of (yummy) food. A feast for all for sure. I like that double self portrait pic and I LOVE those pots. I have to have those!
Wow! What a feast! And, even better with family. 🙂
Our Thanksgiving was wonderful because we could be home with family. Yesterday we were at our son’s. Tomorrow we will do it all over again here at our place with even more people who were at other homes yesterday. Our Thanksgiving just seems to go on and on. It’s terrific!
All the best,
Lois
Wonderful spread.
Do the poor ladies have to prepare as much food in December for Christmas Day or is Christmas a little more spartan? If the same amount of fare is served then I imagine EVERYONE’S New Year resolution is dieting:-)
I have to say it looks yummy. What a shame I live too far away to ask for, and, maybe receive, a goody-bag??????
It seems do had a lot of work. Well done.
Greetings,
Filip
@LeedsLass – you would have had a lot of food to choose from if you were here. I just don’t know how well Oklahoma food would transfer to Great Britain.
That is quite a spread! I’m sure it was a great day. SPB looks really excited in that previous post, can’t wait to dig in.
Thanksgiving is the holiday for rib-sticking, keep-you-warm-all-day food. You folks sure did have a great feast! Nothing like a lovingly made, shared meal.
Wow, what a spread. You could feed a small army with all that. Lots of food, lots of family. God is good.
Oh my goodness–that all looks so good! Mickie 😉
