Scavenger Hunt Sunday – Labor Day Weekend Edition

It is Sunday and that means it is the day that Ashley Sisk hath made for Scavenger Hunt Sunday! Every week she posts the prompts and then we are supposed to go out and get photographs with the prompts in mind unless you are big ole cheater like I am. So lets get on with it is what I say!

1. Back to School

We are big time back to school with son Logan (working  above on a geometry project involving measuring a room above.) He is a junior and has changed schools and he is having to step up, which means that everybody, especially his mother is stepping up also. Things are going great so far although the anxiety level is also way up.

2. Family

Here we are at Gulf Shores, Alalbama earlier this summer on our vacation. Great time was had by everybody.

3. Books

Did you say books? We love books, reading them, looking at them, shopping for them, browsing,

4. Portrait/li>

I don’t do portraits but I love this shot of my wife Heather on our vacation earlier.

5. Detail

Details mean macros to me and I’m not much of a macro guy so how about some redbud buds. Redbud trees sure make Spring beautiful here in northeast Oklahoma.

Anyway, that is Scavenger Hunt Sunday this week!

Nice set of images Yogi. The books reminds me of a used book store here in Rogers, AR. It is an interesting place to browse. Wow, Logan has certainly grown up, but you already knew that. Have a blessed week.

Good series here today. Sounds like the new school year is shaping up to be a busy one for you all. Nice family shot at the beach and your wife is lovely. I really enjoyed your Book shot, what a great perspective. The Red Buds are very pretty.

Great pictures all around. I like the back to school and your wife sure looks like one happy lady! Vacations have a way of making us extra happy right!

Heather looks minute next to the two of you:-) Lovely shot though. Scavenger Hunt is my favourite theme as you always come up with a different slant on the subject matter.

I’m writing this at 4.30a.m. as I just HAD to finish a book called The Miniaturist – if you like something different, well worth reading. Think of Girl With a Pearl Earring.

    Yogi,
Your portrait of Heather is GORGEOUS! The family shot at the beach is great, too.

Good luck to Logan at his new school. Roll on October, when we all will have nailed our routines!
