I enjoy to watch the moon setting too, maybe it is because mostly like you I am touring the landscape in the early hours all by myself, enjoying the wonders of nature as everyone else sleeps on.
It sure is fun to be able to get this kind of occasion on film. These are nice shots, too–and there’s probably no time of the day more peaceful than sunrise (before all those noisy birds start squawking away! 😉 Happy weekend!
fantastic shots, especially the first one!
nicely done you. 🙂
Gorgeous colours in that first shot.
How beautiful. Such a wonderful part of the day.
I almost called you a liar. I ALMOST couldn’t find it. I don’t have my contacts in yet so I’ll blame it on them.
VERY PRETTY!
Question: Do you run with the camera around your neck?
What gorgeous captures! And what a way to begin and end any day! I’ve had a few like that lately! Hope you’re shivering in 80 degree weather today!!!

Fantastic photos.
Both shots are beautiful!
Nice! I’m sure glad you get out early, not my preference, to share sunrise plus the bonus of moonset. Thanks Alan.

I admire people who go jogging in the morning, it’s a skill I have not been able to complete 😉
But even more I admire people who can take a look at something from two perspectives
well done !
With the heat you’ve been experiencing, early morning is the only time for a run. At least you were rewarded with a great sunrise.
I have seen that once or twice, but not often! Special!! And the sunrise is so vibrant!
An incredible morning!
A month’s delay? What a bummer! School until next July?
A moon and a sun,how nice!
