I just love this sky shot. Looks like you do have some rain on the way. We were glad of ours but need more. I guess I had better be careful of what I wish for.
What an awesome capture! Such gorgeous skies/clouds and the promise of rain and maybe a drop in temps has got to be something to be excited about! Stay cool! Enjoy!
What a pity you can’t “borrow” some of ours! Daughter on a visit to England asked, in all inocense, why is the grass so green? She’s definitely lived on Maui far too long 🙂
Been without phone and broadband for four weeks, so lovely to be back where I belong – the joy of moving residence in the UK.
I appear to have lost the art of spelling whilst being off-line – sorry about that. It’s exam result time in the UK – my report would definitely say “could do a lot better”!!!
Lovely sky. Let it rain, let it rain, let it rain. I’m thinking I may have to travel to another state to see rain again. Hot, dry, pretty miserable here in Kansas just as it is there too. Mickie 🙂

Rain, beautiful, rain!!!!
Beautiful! I love the feel, and smell, of the air when rain is on the horizon. Especially when summer has been so miserably hot!
Those are some pretty clouds!
And it felt good!
Where is this rain you speak of? It seems to always miss us in HELL. Bastards.
Certainly looks like rain coming your way in that image.
Stunning shot!
Great shot!! Boom & Gary of the Vermilon River, Canada.
Beautiful sky!
There is nothing quiet like the first rains is there, I always enjoy that moment, the wonderful skies, the scent of rain in the air…..
I like this “cloud layering”. Very lovely.
I bet that was refreshing, you’ve had a long hot summer.

So happy for you and what beautiful and sculptural clouds!
And did it rain again shortly after this picture was taken?
A MAN WHO LOOKED UP AT THE SKY
A man who looked up at the sky
Saw ravens and clouds flying by.
He had to look up,
The sky filled his cup—
He’s my kind of sky-watching guy!

Sure looks like a beautiful break at that! What gorgeous clouds.

We could definitely use some more rain. Nice capture of the clouds. Have a blessed week-end.
Lovely shot. It’s been a tough summer, hasn’t it?

I pray that it will rain at your place and those who are experiencing drought. Great lovely shot!

At last! I just no high winds accompanied the rain.
Very nice photo.
Regards!
Beautiful clouds, and there is a little face 2/3rds up left side, it looks like it is blowing the cloud in front along.
