I’m thinking, based on the sparsely populated parking lot at a busy time of day, that maybe many people are taking this Gulf Shores, Alabama restaurant at their word.
Do you think they have a clever slogan?
(We were not enticed into trying it.)

Now this sign made me laugh!! Great find!
Signs
I think a lot of people may take this sign literally don’t you? Maybe too clever.
warm and lousy are two adjectives to avoid in this context.
It’s funny, but I don’t think it is very good for their business especially in this bad economy!
I think I would turn around quite quickly.
oyster bar and pizza = nice combination. never seen one that offers both delicacy.
tend to agree with Ryan, too clever!
They need to take their tongue out of their cheek because it isn’t working for them.
It’s a funny sign but….. I think I’d be with you.
We spent a winter season in that area, but I don’t remember than restaurant. We did have lots of good and inexpensive restaurant meals while we were there though.
How awful! I’d avoid it. Loe the vacation skies and moonshine!
I think you had a lot more fun on the beach than you would have had in here if that sign reads correctly. Never know what you are gonna find down here in the south…that good old southern humor, I guess. Great shot. Genie
I don’t think that it would tempt me to come in!
There is nothing about this sign that would bring me inside. Strange humour.
It’s funny, but it wouldn’t make me want to eat there.
Irony might be in short supply where they are. A New Englander in Carolina, I already feel like an expatriate. But I can say with complete certainty that you’d have to shoot me (in the leg) before I’d drink warm beer and eat lousy pizza!
reverse psychology?:p
great find!
Truth in advertising? I hope not! What a great find!
How funny.
Love a sense of humour like that… 🙂
The wording has got to be bad for business.
