Tuesday morning I ran four miles early in the morning along the Arkansas River trail here in Tulsa.
The trail is on both sides of the river is extremely photogenic.
Who’d of thought that Tulsa makes a great River City. I had it all to myself that morning.
Well, except for one guy that is. We didn’t bother each other at all.
Where were you Tuesday morning?
Great water and bridge shots.
Sydney – City and Suburbs
What a great place to be with lot of photo opportunities.
I was here in Bangalore with a old friend of mine. 🙂
Four miles–I’m impressed!!! You did have some beautiful views as you were running. Mickie 🙂
They are very photogenic indeed in their serenity. I bet that man in the boat is immensely enjoying the experience too! What are those red floating things in the first photo.
On a trail with such a beautiful view, I wonder why more people weren’t enjoying a run or walk. Still, it was a good contemplative time for you.
Yogi….How do you get any running? I would be stopping constantly taking photos with my Canon Point and Shoot as it fits in my pocket. My hubby runs 10 miles before work each morning and then bikes before work and after work….a glutton for punishment. The problem is he NEVER takes his camera and misses out of red fox, bears, and other little goodies and scenes along the way. He laughed at me tonight when I told him I thought your banner reminded me of Seattle. Your pond and that area with the multiples water sprouts are so different, but still it reminds me of SEA. I just told him to humor me. Genie
I’d rather be paddling on the water than running.
Great shots. That sunset… I’ll bet it was great watching that one.
What are those orange “things” in your first picture – buoys??
Beautiful photographic scenes.
@Andrea and @Leedslass – the orange objects are buoys. Just downstream is a low water dam where the water goes over the top so it is a dangerous situation for boaters.
Now I would take up running with scenes like that in the morning!!!
WAVE ACTION is my watery link. Do stop by if you have time. And, have a super Wednesday!!!
Since you asked – I was in the middle of making a batch of lime pickles.
All of your photos are very peaceful this morning.
Running along a river seems like it would be a soul-satisfying experience.
FEELING RATHER DUCKY
Feeling rather ducky?
Here’s what I would do:
Find a pond or puddle,
One that’s right for you;
Take a sturdy life vest,
Strap it on your back;
Jump into the puddle,
Give a little quack!

Beautiful river shots. It is not often that the river is glassy smooth like that. Nice sunrise.I should get up earlier.
Those red floaty things are either Buoys or Gurls, it is hard to tell at a distance.
A beautiful morning run. Love the colorful sky over the skyline.
Yesterday? Well, I was stranded at home without Black Beauty. She had to go in for some cosmetic surgery. She has a cracked windshield and a dent in the top of her hood. Poor thing. She’ll be back today. She’ll need some TLC though.
I loved looking at these pics. I’ve never ran there. 4 miles? Is that all you could do? It was probably only 90-92 yesterday morning. Wuss.
Sorry I’ve been MIA. Great pics!!! Let’s see, where was I on Tuesday morning? I WAS OUT RUNNING ON THE SAME DANG TRAIL!!! Except I was about 2 miles south of there. 🙂 It was a beautiful morning, though! Thanks for sharing your pics.
Must be so lovely getting up in the early morning and seeing such beautiful sights.
Running along such beauty is a treat to the eyes
You set the net and fish while you run?
You must be a fit person.
I can tell you my Tuesday wasn’t as peaceful or scenic as this! With scenery like that, I can’t blame you or that rower for getting up early.
Lovely reflections! It’s great that you take the time as you run to notice the beauty.
so stunning…..great shots!
