Oklahoma Skywatch II

We went out to Western Oklahoma to visit Sweetie’s family last weekend. Out there, the sun burns hot and bright during the day.

Everybody looks forward to the sunset.

SuperPizzaBoy decided it was cool enough finally to come out for a swim.

How hot has it been where you are?

We haven’t hit 100 yet but we have had days when the temp and the humidity were in the 90’s. That can be brutal. Those folks around Lawton have had 100+ for over 30 days now. That is just unbearable. Come on autumn!

I can empathize because I’ve lived in Texas and I feel almost guilty telling you that we’ve had gorgeous, cloudless blue skies and our high for the day barely reached 80 degrees! I love it! Wish I could send you some cool breezes! Stay cool!

Nice sunset. SPB has the right idea with his evening swim. I have been spending my mornings outside potting plants for the new pergola and come in feeling roasted.

Such a big sky to display sunset. I would be in the pool all day.

Here, high 77 today with 50% chance of T-storms. Trying to send them your way.

Love these pics, Yogi! (Esp of SPB in the pool.) It’s wonderful here in the Mts – cool and sunny with some evening rain.

They are truly awesome sky photos, the sun looks so incredibly big, like it is almost not even real.
SPB made me feel cold as was swimming around, here it is gas fire weather, alas the Australians had not caught on to central heating and my house is b*#@%ing freezing, oh to be warm enough to swim………..

We’ve been in the 80s and 90s which is hot for CO. Our monsoon season has finally started so the evenings are nice and cool. Great pictures!

Pretty sunset. I really like the pool picture.
Low 80’s and rainy here this week. All the heat must’ve gone east.
