I have been gone way too long from Ashley’s weekly scavenger hunt and it is time for me to come back.
1. Weather
This is an old shot from the Tulsa State Fair. I went there one Saturday morning and I was about the only one to show up. It looks like the sky was about to open up. They did a short time later. Not much money was made on the midway that day.
2. My Perspective
One of my favorite cameras is an analog fisheye camera. It is cool. Fixed focus, not adjustment, no nothing. Just point and shoot and hope for the best. You pays your money and you see what you got. This is Snoqualmie Falls in Washington. The babe to the left is my lovely wife.
3. Technology
How about a cool 4-H STEM poster for technology. You know what STEM is right? It stands for “Science, Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics.” I think that is great but I (and many others) think we should change to “STEAM” Which is STEM with Arts added in. Of course I live in Oklahoma where we are happy with just many of high school graduates learning how to read.
4. Fresh
Oh man, I cannot resist a trail and fresh air. How about you?
5. Me
That’s me, and Heather. Isn’t she beautiful? And know those leaves on the my shirt is not marijuana plants. At least I don’t think they are. And no, those are not my cows. And GOODNESS NO!!!!, I didn’t go to the University of Oklahoma. (AKA “The University of Texas at Norman). Its a great school and all. I mean they have done a great job the last few years building a university that the football team can be proud of. (I know, don’t end sentences in prepositions. I tried and it didn’t read very well, go ahead and make suggestions if you want.)
Well that’s it for the Scavenger Hunt this week. Come and join in the fun. Check it out at Scavenger Hunt Sunday.
But… I thought it was ALL about me. I was wrong????
Nice photographs today tell your tale.
Fun shots for the day!! Hope you’re enjoying your weekend!!
I haven’t done a scavenger hunt in a long time either! And I’m with you – hard to resist a trail and a long walk…especially where any kind of bridge is concerned!
Perspective is awesome!
The weather photo is so cool as the sky is like just before the rain. And fresh, new leaves on trees is always beautiful !!!
Great photos – especially that fish eye shot!
Your photos are great, but the one i most like is the oldfashioned “fresh” air.

I think you look good with cows and even better with Heather by your side! I can’t resist a trail and fresh air either. I recently got a fisheye lens for my iPhone. It is one of my favorite toys now.
I like the whimsy of the first image, but then, I like the fair. My wife and I used to go three or four times when we lived in Tulsa. I still like to make the trip over to see the National Sugar Arts show. Even though I only have digital cameras these days, occasionally, I will still put on a fixed focus 50mm lens and shoot it exclusively. The zoom feature consists of me taking steps forward or backward. Nice set of images Yogi.
love those series of photos, especially your fish eye shot! Great weather and fair in Tulsa 🙂
Your wit makes me smile.
