Terrific way to begin any day, anywhere! I’m well acquainted with Dallas weather but after living in the northwest for the past 17 years, I don’t deal with the heat very well and the heat AND humidity in Houston was never bearable! Guess I’ll stick with gray skies, can’t have it all, but the northwest is the closest I’ve come to having it all! Have a safe trip home and a great weekend!
whoa, you were in Dallas? I imagine there isn’t much relief from the heat there until autumn. we had 95 degrees for 3 days and after a front moved through last night it’s 48 degrees. I’m chilled! what a glorious sunrise shot Yogi. happy SWF, and have a great weekend.
Lovely skies, Yogi, with that fiery sun! We haven’t had to worry about heat here in B.C…we’re still waiting for the clouds and drizzle to give us a break…LOL.
Just wail ’til August! Dallas in nearly unbearable by then. Great skywatch photo though.
I like the way the sky really takes over in this photo. There sure is a feeling of heat on the way.
Fabulous sunrise!
But I’ll bet their neighbor to the south, Houston, is unbearably hot and humid! I can take Dallas. Houston, not so much.
Same here!

At least Dallas had a pretty sunrise to make up for the heat.
Very beautiful! I posted some that I took when we were in Kansas last fall.
Hope your weekend is wonderful,

I can almost feel the heat and humidity when looking at your Skywatch photo. I really like the skyline at the bottom of the picture.
California has been cooler than the rest of the country lately–highly unusual!

What a lovely sky to wake up to – it would be nice if England could experience a few now and then.
