I was hanging out in the backyard enjoying the mild weather when a hot air balloon showed up.
I have no idea why it was there. I think Curves is a fitness gym for women.
I think hot air balloons may be the prettiest man made things in the sky.
Anyway, the Curves balloon drifted away as quietly as it came in.
I hope it comes back.
Hot air balloons are beautiful. Every year I say we’re going to attend the balloon show that’s in the Tulsa area but it always seems to fall on a weekend when we have already made other commitments.
I love it when something unexpected and great shows up.

I love watching hot air baloons. My husband and I took in a hot air baloon festival here in Michigan.
Awesome. If anything has curves, a hot air balloon does! I hope it comes back, too.
What a nice surprise to come up upon this cool hot air balloon. LOve the bright yellow. We have a Curves exercise work out place here, but I prefer to walk out on the highway in front of the house. The views are much nicer than looking a bunch of women working out on a bunch of machines. Fun post. genie

We used to live in Plano, near a park frequently used by ballooners as a launching point. Many a weekend morning found us being awakened by the sound of the gas flame as the pilots tried to keep their craft from plowing into our house, which stood on a bit of a hill. During the annual balloon festival, hundreds would rise at once and the view was spectacular. Thanks for this reminder!
There’s something to be said about less is more. One balloon up is a sight to behold, hundreds at one time like our Fiesta and they all just clutter up the sky.
