3. Blue
For years my Dad provided the music for the Dubois, Idaho Rodeo Parade. He had a tape player and some big speakers he put on the back of his pickup. The dude in the western hat is my brother-in-law Irv. My son Logan is the young man riding with Irv in the back of the truck.
4. Play
This is son teaching his cat LJ how to play the piano. I don’t think the lesson’s stuck.
5. Sparkle
This is what happens when you violate a rule of photography that says to never shoot into the sun. That’s okay because I’m a picture taker. Us picture takers don’t recognize any rules. We just go merrily about our way taking bad pictures. I kind of liked this one though.
Picture takers are some of my favorite people and that “Sparkle” image is a perfect example of why. They come up with some of the most interesting images. I also like the flags in that first image especially the one with the star and 46 in it. My Oklahoma history escapes me but I’m guessing that it was an early state flag design. Have a blessed week.

I like breaking the rules, like taking pictures in the middle of the day. LOL. I like your sparkle (and looking into the sun). Pretty cool. That wooden flag in Tulsa was pretty cool.

Great photos. The flags are great–especially the wooden ones. I’m glad I am not the only one that thinks it is OK to break the photography rules. I get some of my favorite, if not best, photos that way.
Can Logan play the piano? LJ seems pretty patient for a kitty! I like sparkle – who cares about rules.
Nope, Logan can’t play yet. LJ likes to walk across the keys and make his own music.
