Last Saturday, Heather and I were walking to a craft show in a not so great neighborhood just east of downtown Tulsa when I spotted this tree with the bright yellow leaves set against the blue sky and in amongst garbage carts, a food truck, and the back of a stop sign. I live in a city folks many of my Skywatch pictures have power lines, billboards, and other distractions. But I take the pics anyway. (Amongst is a word in Oklahoma by the way)
What about you, do you ever just take the pic anyway?
One of the great things about fall colors, they can brighten up any landscape, including an otherwise less than attractive urban scene.
i do agree with Driller!! I love that “golden” tree!! Thanks for sharing the beauty, as always!!
Those golden leaves make the setting beautiful!
Those distractions … And worse … are amongst us here in Oregon as well…. But we are enjoying them.
Amongst is a word in Ontario too, Yogi! The leaves are lovely and I didn’t see the wires until you mentioned them. 😉
Yes, I usually take the shot anyway. Some of those “warts” can make the photo more interesting! Have a great weekend.
It speaks of life.
Beautiful tree, Yogi. You’ve captured it well and it looks like such a gorgeous day too.
Beautiful view.
Fall colors make everything beautiful.
Hello Yogi, I love the beautiful tree and yellow leaves. A gorgeous sky shot.
Happy Friday, enjoy your weekend!
Yogi, yep I do take the picture even when there are less desirable things cluttering the frame. To be honest, I didn’t see the garbage carts in your photo because my focus was on that beautiful tree against a gorgeous blue sky. 🙂 Have a fototastic Friday and thanks for hosting!
That is a very pretty tree and gorgeous blue sky behind it. And yes, I certainly sometimes just take the less-than-perfect picture.
Great colors of tree against blue sky ~
Happy Weekend to you,

Sure! Sometimes I see something special later when I look at it again.
