I went back out to the farm to see the lambs recently. They are growing. Mom is still very protective of them.
She told me that the comments about mint jelly made on the blog last week were not amusing! Not at all!
Time to introduce “Lucky”
She was born two years ago and was rejected by her mother. So she was raised by Sweetie’s friend Karen. Karen calls her “Baby.”
She follows Karen around the farm like a dog. It really is kind of sweet.
I can imagine she did not take well to the mint sauce jokes. Boom & Gary of the Vermilon River, Canada.
Baby is so sweet and it is cool that she follows her owner around.
Great photos, I love the story of Lucky. It’d make a fun children’s book.
We raised a little lamb back when I was in elementary school. Once she got too big for our yard we took her to my grandmother’s home to be with her own kind. Within 2 days she disappeared, never to be seen again. We think someone stole her.
I can’t resist a little lamb (in any form)
Lucky is just charming! You can tell mom that she’s safe with me as I’m vegetarian…
These sheep appear to be very well taken care of. I am very impressed.
Oh my, you’d better present my apologies for my mint sauce comments – nothing personal, but she does look good enough to eat:-)
I love the lambs — and the Mama, too, of course! Fun captures for the day. Hope your weekend is going well!

Ok…I’ve decided I really need one! They are just too cute! And no, I won’t be eating it at for Easter dinner like SOMEONE ELSE I KNOW!
Great images and I love the wool on that sweet dog, er, sheep. What a beautiful sweater that would make!
I want to go play with the sheep! Doc would never allow me near them for fear I would want one.
Mama looks so proud of her little ones.
Those little ones are still ridiculously cute. I love that the one hand fed has adopted the human.
Awwwwww, Cute. I want one!
OK, now that I’ve got that out of my system.
Right Bill, is it lamb for Sunday lunch?
AWWW, Great shots! The babies are so cute!
The twin lambs are adorable. How cruel to mention mint jelly!
Baby following Karen around is sweet. Baby thinks Karen is Mom.
I just love sheep. They are so very cute.
